Job Summary

A facility in Alabama is seeking a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens call coverage. You will provide 7 AM to 7 AM coverage for approximately 10 days per month, with most shifts falling Thursday morning through Monday morning for extended weekends. This role focuses on cardiac and thoracic cases only. You’ll work alongside dedicated PAs who handle vein harvesting and inpatient consults, while you supervise APPs and collaborate with the care team. EMR is Epic, and all cases are adult.
