SR. Engineering Tech - Outfitting- 2D Checker

This Sr. Engineering technician will be within the outfitting team supporting a large shipbuilding company delivering designed and built US NAVY vessels. This position requires at least 8 years of experience in maritime outfitting. Responsibilities will include utilizing Ship Constructor to check outfitting drawings in 2D AutoCad, communicating with modelers to modify drawings to become NAVSEA compliant, solving issues found in drawings within ShipConstructor according to drawing hierarchy, working directly with team lead to finalize models and designs for vessel delivery. The hourly range for this position is $36-40 per hour.
