Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students in Lewes, Delaware. This role involves delivering specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities and supporting their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Adapt general curriculum to meet the needs of students with varying disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student performance
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
