Holiday Coverage Requirements

Travelers are required to work ONE of the following holiday groupings :

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the Friday / weekend after

OR

New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day and the Friday / weekend after

Note : Extensions requested to end in November or before the December holiday period will NOT be considered for an extension beginning in early 2026.

Want to work alongside another perm job or travel assignment

Will request any schedule accommodations (including block scheduling)

Unit Overview

Cheshire’s midwife-led maternity team provides low-intervention, personalized pregnancy care with strong support and empowerment, while still offering access to full medical resources when needed.

The traveler will provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, using age-appropriate knowledge to individualize care within the facility’s nursing philosophy, standards of care, and practice expectations.

RTO (Requested Time Off) Policy

All RTO must be included at the time of submission and verified.

RTO requests after submission will NOT be approved.

Maximum allowed RTO : 5 days (less is preferred).

Compliance Requirements

All medical / occupational health compliance items must be ordered, completed, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance.

All proofs must be uploaded to Trio.
