About The Position

Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Salisbury, NC (onsite)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Work Hours : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00)

Total Weekly Hours : 40 ### RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR ###

Skills : Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry

Certs : ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Skills : Perform EKG lead placement

Certs : ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med Experience

JOB DETAILS : SHIFT :

Unit will accept contracts 13-20 weeks!

8 HOUR DAYS; 07 : 30 - 16 : 00

Call Requirement :

Weekday call : 16 : 00-07 : 30; Twice a week for 2 weeks in a month.

Weekend Call : Friday 16 : 00-Monday 7 : 30; 1 weekend call a month.

Expect urgent / emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.

Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN.

Float Requirement : NONE.

Weekend Requirement : Every Third Weekend.

PATIENT AGE GROUP : Adults and Geriatrics

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Vice Implants : PPM, ICD

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : We are a combo lab (IR / Cardiology / Vascular / EP) with an approximate 80%-10% split with IR being the 80%, 10% being other procedure types.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT : GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR / IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella.

UNIT ORIENTATION : 40 Hours; 40-80 hours

SCRUBS : Yes. Scrubs are provided.
