NICU Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Atlanta, GA 30329 (Georgia nursing jobs) Facility Setting : Level IV / Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 15, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (7p-7a), every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,890-$1,940 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience, including Level IV / surgical NICU PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred Willingness to float to other departments and cross-campus NICU units (SR NICU) Ability to work either day of Christmas or day before / day after Christmas Nicotine-free facility - must pass nicotine screening Flu vaccine required - no exceptions NICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU Manage complex neonatal cases including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF / EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and perioperative care Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Float to other hospital departments and cross-campus NICU units as needed Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination and nicotine-free requirements Provide compassionate support and education to families during challenging times Apply now to join our Atlanta NICU nursing team and take your travel nursing career to the next level!
