Job description
- SUMMARY
- Mortenson is currently seeking a Field Operations Administrator
- responsible for onboarding, training, and maintaining records for craft team members, as well as providing overall training and quality support to the geographic office and project teams.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver field orientation to craft new hires
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of new hire paperwork
- Maintain applicant log and Good Faith Efforts records
- Project, schedule, and coordinate craft training classes
- Reserve venues, equipment, and catering for training
- Prepare and distribute training materials; set up and clean up rooms
- Maintain training records and post to MortU if required
- Assist with team member projections, pre-screening, and onboarding
- Resolve payroll issues and manage IT accounts for field leaders
- Support Safety and Quality programming logistics and communications
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of four years’ experience in administrative support
- Minimum of two years’ experience in construction or related industry
- Knowledge of general safety protocols in construction
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Project management, leadership, and business skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong facilitation, speaking, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 5%

- The base pay range for this role is $27.93 - $37.69 hourly.
- (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
- Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
