Sr Principal Product Manager - Cloud and Network Security

Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Product Manager with deep expertise in network security and virtual networking to drive the development of innovative network security products. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OCI's network security and virtual networking offerings, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management within the cloud network security domain, including experience launching and managing customer-facing security products and features-such as DDoS protection, zero trust networking, and advanced firewall solutions. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet evolving security threats and regulatory requirements. Success in this position requires a customer-centric mindset, strong business judgment, and exceptional analytical and negotiation skills. You should demonstrate the ability to develop strategic initiatives as well as execute hands-on tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.

Deeply understand customer needs, and industry innovation to drive the product vision, strategy for network security and virtual networking services, maximizing business and customer impact

Partner closely with senior management and engineering teams to define and align with stakeholders on vision, strategy, and roadmaps

Develop product roadmaps in partnership with relevant product and engineering teams that execute on product vision and strategy

Present solutions to customers and partners at multiple levels, from technical audience to CxO.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

8+ years of PM experience or 10+ years of relevant technical experience in engineering

Product management experience in cloud network security and cloud networking. Preferably experience with DDOS protection, Zero Trust Segmentation, Next Generation Firewalls and other cybersecurity technologies.

The ability to analyze and anticipate market trends

Ability to seamlessly pivot between strategic & tactical priorities

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $115,400 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
