About The Position

License : ARRT

Certifications : BLS, IEMA

Must-Have :

First-time travelers are accepted if they have experience as an X-ray tech.

Candidates without X-ray experience are not eligible as first-time travelers.

Experience in General X-ray, GI, Surgery, and Level 1 Trauma is required.

Description :

The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet Designation.

It houses 749 beds and is designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

The imaging department includes 4 outpatient rooms and 5 inpatient rooms.

Support is provided through multiple X-ray techs working concurrently.

General patient types include both portable and non-portable X-ray patients.

Surgery experience is preferred for candidates applying for this position.

The facility uses an EPIC charting system along with GE X-ray rooms and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment.

Utilization of GE C-Arm and Fuji portables is also part of the workflow.

Scheduling requires that all requests for time off are approved by the unit manager.

Scrub color for this position is Caribbean Blue.
