Program Engineer, Armtec Defense Technologies Armtec Defense Technologies (Armtec) is an operating unit of the Transdigm Group (NYSE :

  • TDG), an industry leader in aerospace and defense products and services.
  • Armtec is comprised of three business units producing subcomponents for ordnance in Coachella, CA; decoy countermeasure flares in Camden AR; and radar countermeasure chaff in Lillington NC.

  • They serve as the main point of contact for all engineering activity, translating program objectives into actionable technical priorities and driving execution from concept through production.

  • Innovation and Improvement Continuously improves safety, quality, and cost efficiency through LEAN and Six Sigma methods.
  • Integrates emerging technologies and automation to enhance reliability.
  • Leads troubleshooting and root-cause efforts to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Technical Excellence Applies deep engineering knowledge to product and process optimization.
  • Reviews designs, specifications, and BOMs to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
  • Uses analytical and statistical tools to control variation and drive performance.
  • Integrity and Professionalism Acts with accountability, transparency, and ethical judgment.
  • Promotes a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous learning.
  • Represents Armtec with technical credibility and professionalism.
  • Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or related field). 5+ years of engineering experience in production or defense industries.
  • Strong background in process improvement, product development, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; self-motivated and organized.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Salary Range :
