JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sales Engineer - Physical Security to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in physical security technologies, combined with excellent sales and communication skills. This role is vital in providing technical expertise to our clients, ensuring they receive the most effective solutions to meet their security needs.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
- Work through VLCM account managers to develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their physical security requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance during the sales process, including product demonstrations and presentations.
- Collaborate with the VLCM engineering and VLCM supplier teams to stay current on the latest security technologies and market trends.
- Prepare and present scopes of work, proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Stay informed about competitors and industry developments to enhance our sales strategy.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote our physical security solutions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within the physical security sector.Strong understanding of physical security products, including access control systems, video surveillance solutions, and alarm systems.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site assessments.WHAT WE OFFER
