About The Position

Must-Have :
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Every other weekend and every other holiday are required.
Description :
The registered nurse will work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2.
Candidates with more than 2 years of experience are preferred.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend work is required every other weekend.
The position does not require on-call duties.
The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet unit needs is expected.
Local candidates are accepted.
Special Requirements :
Experience with trauma cases preferred.
Knowledge in various critical care skills is essential.
Candidates should have experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
Specific skills include care of ventilated patients, central line management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
Unit Details :
The unit cares for adult patients with post-trauma and surgical needs.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.
The daily census is approximately 9 patients with a total of 10 beds.
