Dental Assistant

We’re searching for a diligent dental assistant to provide support to our dentist’s office. You’ll be responsible for supporting our dental staff, helping prep for examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. 17 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Help with administrative duties such as welcoming patients, taking phone calls, making appointments for dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing
• Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures
• Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
• Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
• Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
