Hair of the dog is a high-volume, fast casual brunch / lunch restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Norfolk. We are looking for a Host, expo or support staff to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests.

A Host / Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts.

A Food Expeditor responsibility ensures the smooth and timely flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen, checks dishes for accuracy and presentation, assists in final dish preparation, maintains fast service, handles customer complaints, and upholds quality and sanitation standards.

A Support staff member has the flexibility and knowledge to be able to float in-between both jobs list above.
