Position Title : Assistant to Director of Enrollment and Mission Engagement
Location : Prince of Peace Catholic School Plano Texas

Position Summary : This is a full-time position with two fundamental and at times overlapping responsibilities : To coordinate the schools Christian service initiatives and to serve as assistant to the Director of Enrollment and Mission Engagement in whatever capacity required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position :
- Coordinate and oversee student-related service organizations such as Beta Club RAK and Safety Patrol and manage volunteer service hours.
- Coordinate quarterly community service Serviam nights throughout the year for school families to support the mission and vision of the school.
- Plan and oversee all outreach drives for the school.
- Coordinate all service outreaches for faculty and staff.
- Provide weekly updates and correspondenceto be shared in the school newsletter.
- Coordinate the annual Veterans Day Program.
- Coordinate The Fr. Tom Cloherty Diocese of Dallas Religion Bowl.
- Support and assist the Director of Enrollment and Engagement in whatever way required including giving school tours proctoring placement tests assisting with admissions events planning and executing.
- Engage in event planning and set-up as defined by the Director.
- Assist the administration in other school matters as asked or as needed.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities :
Has excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.Is familiar or is a quick learner with typical school software (Microsoft Office Suite FACTS / RENWEB especially).Has the ability to meet established plans goals deadlines and objectives.Has strong initiative ability to manage multiple priorities.Works well both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines and on several projects concurrently.Skilled in developing and nurturing interpersonal relationships and communications with staff volunteers new families and members of the community.Possesses organizational and creative thinking skills attention to detail.Demonstrates high energy level and flexibility pleasant persona coupled with sound judgment; flexible discreet and able to maintain confidential information.Is a Proactive problem solver and quick learner.Learns and follows school protocols.Reporting Directly to the Prince of Peace Catholic Schools Director of Enrollment and Mission Engagement the role of the Assistant to the Director is to support the schools mission and be active in the life of the school and parish community. Additionally this person :
Lives faithfully by the precepts of the Catholic Church and represents the mission of the school in an exemplary way.Represents POP at community functions as needed.Ensures compliance with policies and procedures of Prince of Peace Catholic School and the Diocese of Dallas.Initiates or develop other programs relative to the job description.Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned by the President / Principal or the Director of Enrollment and Mission Engagement.Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the policies of the Diocese of Dallas and Prince of Peace Catholic School.
Compensation : 40 hours / week; some weeks will require flex schedules to include nights and weekends. Salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits.
