LOCATION Annapolis Junction, MD CLEARANCE REQUIRED Active TS / SCI w / Polygraph SALARY RANGE $209,000 - $266,000 / year WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer III, you will serve as a Front-End Engineer on the ETPG / EAP Discovery Analytics Team. You will : Build specialized tools and tradecraft for enhancing the CNO mission Create scalable data visualizations and workflow improvement tools Independently lead full software lifecycles from design through deployment Maintain and optimize codebases with performance and usability in mind Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore emerging technologies Develop solutions that directly impact mission-critical user experience REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 12 years of experience as a Software Engineer on similarly scoped projects Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 additional years of SWE experience in lieu of degree) Additional Requirements : Expertise in front-end technologies and the React ecosystem Strong understanding of state management, responsive design, and scalable UI architecture Familiarity with Git, containerization, and modern DevOps workflows Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to mission-specific systems A user-centric mindset and problem-solving orientation NICE-TO-HAVES React tools : Vite, Tanstack Query, Tailwind CSS, Redux Visualization : Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts Backend : Django, MySQL, SQLite, Postgres, Redis Systems & Tools : Elasticsearch, WebSockets, Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD, XP / Agile, Git, Linux (CentOS / RHEL), Cloud (S3, EC2, RDS), XKS Bonus : Software reverse engineering, prior CNO experience BENEFITS Healthcare : CareFirst BlueChoice (Medical & Vision) Dental : Delta Dental Disability : Guardian (Short & Long Term) Life Insurance : Guardian 401k : Safe Harbor 401k with 6% match, 100% vested immediately Time Off : 20 days PTO 11 federal holidays We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
