As a Bridge Repair Supervisor 2, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and scheduling the activities of the bridge repair crews. You would estimate materials, equipment, labor requirements, and prepare reports on programs and accomplishments. You may assist in condition inspections of bridges. You will be required to perform snow and ice control activities.

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department's response to regional and statewide emergency situations.

The selected candidate will serve the role in Saratoga counties, and may be working from either locations as duties demand. To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law. Candidates must possess a valid New York State Class A or Class B Commercial's Driver's License with no air brake restriction, at the time of appointment and continuously thereafter.

The starting salary for Bridge Repair Assistant is $72,136.00. This amount is comprised of the base salary of $63,136.00 with an additional geographic pay differential of $9,000.00, specific to this title and location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Cannabis use is not permitted for employees in this title and may be the basis for disqualification for employment or may be a basis for removal from employment.
