Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and route driving, with a strong emphasis on communication and sales skills. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving company vehicles over an established route.
• Manage daily routes efficiently while adhering to schedules.
• Stocking the products on shelves. Ensuring they are well-stocked and meet cleanliness standards, rotating products.
• Upsell products during deliveries by effectively presenting pricing and promotional offers.
• Collect and record out-of-date, rejected, or unsold products
• Monitors shelf life of products, to minimize spoilage losses.
• Handle heavy lifting of products as required during loading and unloading.
• You will be responsible for the invoices and payments, go to the office and give them to the administrative assistant every day.
• Maintaining precise records of inventory. Full inventory counts must be completed every week. Placing orders for the next day.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve products within the warehouse.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery processes and improve customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for product handling.
• Experience in upselling or sales is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
