Responsibilities Hospital Operating Room setting in a Level I Trauma environment Responsibilities include both scrubbing and circulating during procedures Required to work 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule matrix covering day, evening, or night shifts Expected to take 4-5 on-call shifts per 6-week matrix with 30-minute response time Floating to other units as needed Required to work at least one major holiday, which may fall on any shift Uses the DaVinci xi and DV5 robotic surgical systems Epic charting system experience is heavily preferred Potential to provide care for COVID patients Pre-screen and manager interview required for final selection Candidate modules must be completed prior to start and will require 5-6 hours Team preference is for RNs who are able to both scrub and circulate independently without need for refresher training All requested time off must be submitted up front and is limited to a maximum of 7 days during the contract Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to receive the travel rate Scrubs or dress code requirements were not specified Facility is tobacco and fragrance free Requirements Active RN license for PA or compact state with no license hits Minimum 3 years of recent operating room RN experience Previous travel nursing experience is required At least 1 year of Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred Must be proficient in robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology surgeries Ability to independently manage cases in specialties including robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, trauma, and thoracic (excluding cardiac / open heart) Experience with DaVinci xi robot required; familiarity with DV5 robot is a plus AHA or ARC certifications are required Must be tobacco and fragrance free for compliance with facility policy Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639804.
