What We Need :
The Global IT Business Analyst - Operations is a technically minded, experienced business expert who maintains professional, trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders across Brady's businesses globally, solving business challenges with technology. As a process and SAP business system expert, the person in this position assists in achieving top-priority business objectives through the analysis of business problems and opportunities, effective requirements gathering, and the development of appropriate solutions. The Business Analyst is also responsible for ongoing maintenance of configuration, testing, training, documentation, and deployment of IT capabilities that serve Operations. Additionally, the person in this position possesses proven project management skills and is able to coordinate and lead the delivery of small to mid-sized initiatives. This is an onsite role at our Global HQ in Milwaukee, WI.
What You'll Be Doing :
Subject matter expert on assigned areas of responsibility within the Operations Global IT Service
Provide guidance to the business community on IT capabilities that enable Operations
Works with business and other IT team members to analyze and document requirements
Prepare clearly written detailed functional and technical specifications
Participate in architecting solutions to solve business challenges
Generate and execute test plans to ensure quality of work and mitigate negative impact on business
Coordinate delivery of system changes and enhancements including required communication
Document all enhancements, implementations and interfaces (technical and business-level documentation).
Provide necessary training
Appropriately plan and schedule work to consistently meet deadlines
Coordinate and lead delivery of small to mid sized projects
Provide timely & efficient break / fix support
Set a positive example by adhering to internal Global IT processes for receiving, managing and delivering work
What You Will Need To Be Successful :
Bachelor of Science degree in a business or information technology field
5 years of related business experience
5 years of SAP experience in the functional areas of operations
Proven ability to effectively manage small to mid-sized projects with minimal guidance
Ability to effectively communicate with others in IT, business teams, and management
Positive attitude, self-starter, team player
Internal and external customer focus
Experience working in a global business environment
Working hour flexibility due to the global environment and travel when required (
