Job Description

A specialty practice in New Jersey is actively seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join their Pediatric Neurology staff primarily in New Jersey with flexibility to travel to the Westchester and Manhattan offices a few times per month.

About the Opportunity

Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient
Specialty : Pediatric Neurology / Epilepsy
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Call : optional call with differential

Responsibilities

Perform complete history and physical examinations on patients within the outpatient clinic and the medical centers

Clearly discriminate between abnormal and normal findings when evaluating the history, physical examination, and laboratory tests

Identify patient problems and develop further treatment plans and modalities in concert with the supervising physician

Make complete entries in the EMR utilizing evidence-based practice

Qualifications

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

Active New Jersey State Family Nurse Practitioner license

DEA

CDS

Computer literacy and familiarity with EMR charting

Desired skills

Neuroscience Nursing and Critical Care experience
