Client Service Manager - Water Infrastructure
We are seeking a seasoned engineering professional to lead client engagement and project delivery for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about advancing sustainable water solutions and building long-term client partnerships.
About the Role :
As a Client Service Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing client relationships, overseeing complex engineering projects, and guiding multidisciplinary teams. You'll contribute to projects such as treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and water reuse initiatives that support resilient and sustainable water systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring consistent service and satisfaction.
- Serve as the technical lead, responsible for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating project assignments.
- Develop internal standards and best practices for engineering activities.
- Make authoritative decisions on technical matters and provide strategic direction on complex issues.
- Participate in proposal development, client interviews, and contract negotiations.
- Identify and manage subconsultants and external partners.
- Represent the firm in professional associations through technical presentations, committee involvement, and leadership roles.
- Local travel within Southern California is required.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license.15+ years of relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure.Proven track record in delivering projects such as treatment facilities, water reuse systems, pump stations, and pipeline networks.
