MRI Technologist

Performs MRI procedures according to established practices and procedures. Takes call. Schedules MRI exams, stocks procedure rooms. Acts as a resource person to Radiology staff and medical staff.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required, associates degree preferred. Credentials :

• MRT (New Mexico licensure) required.
• R.T. (MR) (ARRT) or ARMRIT (ARMRIT) required.
• MRI Registered Technologists :
• MRT (New Mexico licensure) required.
• R.T. (MR) (ARRT) or ARMRIT (ARMRIT) required.
• Or : Registered Technologist Trainees / Apprentices :
• PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) required.
• R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
• Successful completion of ARRT(MR) Boards within two years of hire.

Education : Essential : High School Diploma or GED

Credentials : Essential : NM Magnetic Resonance Tech, Rad Tech-Magnetic Resonance Im, American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, NM Provisional Magnetic Resonance Tech
