The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for shaping the clinical vision and driving strategic initiatives that ensure excellence in quality, safety and patient outcomes across all employed physicians and advanced practice providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  The CMO is accountable for advancing quality, safety and clinical performance and for fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.  This role guides initiatives that optimize provider engagement and strengthen operational effectiveness across the Division.

Key Responsibilities :

• Shapes the clinical vision and strategic priorities of the medical group in collaboration with system and hospital leadership
• Champions evidence-based practices and innovation to enhance quality, safety and care consistency.
• Provides physician perspective and counsel in strategic, operational and growth initiatives
• Strengthens alignment across inpatient, outpatient and specialty services to improve coordination of care.
• Oversees risk compliance and ethical standards ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Promotes a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous learning among medical staff
