Responsibilities

• Manage Financial Statement Audits : Lead the planning, execution, and completion of external financial statement audits for clients within the Health Industries (HI) sector (e.g., healthcare providers, life sciences, payers).
• Technical Authority : Apply and maintain expert-level working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards , specializing in technical accounting and financial reporting issues unique to the HI market.
• Quality Assurance : Assume responsibility for the detailed review and final quality assurance of team members' audit workpapers, ensuring all documentation fully supports the audit opinion and complies with firm and regulatory standards.
• Risk Management : Perform detailed risk assessments and design effective testing strategies for complex accounts and areas, particularly related to industry-specific risk factors.
• Lead Client Engagements : Serve as the primary daily contact for client management, ensuring effective, straightforward communication and managing project scope and timelines.
• Provide Business Insight : Use deep understanding of the HI market and client operations to provide relevant business advice and innovative solutions, going beyond core compliance to create value.
• Relationship Management : Proactively seek and act on client feedback, modify professional behavior to build quality relationships, and regularly communicate progress and updates to maintain transparency.
