Collaborate with fellow team members to implement committed user stories within iteration to the agreed standard. Primarily responsible for :
- Assessment and planning of development efforts required for new functions / features under development
- Architecture, design
- Coding
- Code review and unit testing activities
- Deployment and continuous delivery pipeline extensions and maintenance

Essential Functions of this Position
Coding of user stories in a collaborative fashion with fellow team members to ensure delivery in an incremental fashion and that delay and handoff between Development and QA is minimizedContribute to the estimation of user stories as part of release and iteration planning activitiesCollaborate with fellow team members on application architecture and design to ensure that the approaches and technologies applied to current implementation work are sound and fit for purposeAnalyzing requirements and working with the product owner to ensure that stories exhibit INVEST CharacteristicsFully participate in iteration retrospectives and collaborate with fellow team members to ensure that the team inspect and adapt and continuously improve performanceContribute to departmental level efforts to analyze and improve our agreed delivery process and practicesOther duties as assignedQualifications

Minimum Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's Degree preferredMicrosoft Certified Developer preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
More than Two (2) years of relevant software engineering experienceProven experience working in Agile methodologies , with a solid understanding of planning, estimation techniques, and the principles of Agile.Experience managing tasks using Jira or similar Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) toolsHands-on experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure , including architecture, deployment, and lifecycle managementTechnical Skills & Core Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesProactive and positive attitude with a willingness to tackle challenges beyond core expertiseCollaborative team player committed to shared successProven experience across the full software development lifecycleAdvanced debugging proficiencyStrong SQL skills and experience with major relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).NET DevelopmentProficiency in .NET fundamentals and C# (up to version 7.0)Experience with .NET CoreMicroservices & Cloud Technologies
Experience designing and building distributed microservice-based applications utilizing the following technologies :Azure Functions
Azure Service BusAzure Cosmos DB (with document models)Azure DevOps PipelinesWeb Development
Experience in .NET web development with MVC.Competence in front-end technologies including :HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Front-end frameworks and libraries such as : HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and APIs ( Angular.js, Blazor, Classic ASP, and jQuery)Additional Technical Experience
Experience with Java is a plusPhysical Requirements
