Collections Specialist I

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist I - REMOTE. Key Responsibilities Perform follow-up on outstanding insurance balances and document account activity Make outbound calls to insurance payers and handle incoming correspondence regarding claims Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to collections Required Qualifications Education : H.S. Diploma or GED Experience : 0-2 years in medical collections, accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare revenue cycle operations Preferred Education : Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field Preferred Experience : Working with insurance follow-up and claim resolution in a healthcare setting
