Apply in-depth knowledge of State and Federal governmental accounting principles, concepts, practices, and methods.Review and approve expenditures in the state accounting system, WOLFS.Prepare federal and state expenditure reports and ensure compliance with grant regulations.Prepare budget information for grant applications, perform budget modifications, and track expenditures against grants and programs.Perform federal reporting requirements for Disability Determination Services (DDS) / Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), including annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.Develop Annual and Quarterly Spending Plans for DDS / OSHA.Reconcile financial reports, revenue, cash receipts, and budgets in WOLFS.Ensure monthly drawdown of DDS / OSHA federal funds complies with federal grant regulations and the Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA).Oversee purchasing, accounts payable, fixed assets, and indirect costs for DDS / OSHA federal awards.Conduct post-audit reviews and approvals for interfaces; assist with audits and year-end reporting.Act as a subject matter expert, assisting accounting staff to resolve issues and errors; provide training on payment processing and fiscal duties.Additional Responsibilities :
Monitor expenditures, encumbrances, revenue, and budgets in WOLFS for the Workers' Compensation Program (WC).Reconcile budgets and perform post-audit reviews and approvals for WC payments.Assist with audits and year-end reporting for WC; ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations.Review fiscal policies and procedures, making recommendations for operational improvements.Prepare, analyze, and interpret fiscal information; conduct special studies as needed.Preferences :
