Job description

Organisation : EDHECinfra and Private Assets (“EIPA”)

Responsibilities :

  • The successful applicant will develop model pipeline tools to convert unstructured financial and textual data into structured formats.
  • Support the development and refinement of tools for company identification, transaction and source matching, and company data and ownership mapping using knowledge graphs.
  • Improve algorithmic models for private equity transaction matching and assist in retrieving financial accounts by integrating APIs or automating company report acquisition.
  • Maintain and enhance existing machine learning tools, working closely with analysts for seamless integration into workflows.
  • Liaise with the production team to implement and maintain models.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Data to develop other data products as needed.

Skills and Qualifications :

Candidates should have :

  • 3–4 years of experience in data science, AI systems, or related fields
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models and applications
  • Proficiency in Python; familiarity with R and other statistical languages is a plus
  • Experience with prompting LLMs and building agentic AI systems (e.g., Langchain, Langgraph)
  • Knowledge of NLP techniques such as entity extraction and similarity search; experience with knowledge graphs is advantageous
  • Experience integrating human feedback into AI workflows (e.g., LabelStudio)
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • Experience with web data ingestion using scraping tools (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Selenium)
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3)
  • Comfort working in Unix environments and managing Python packages
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s preferred

    • This is a full-time, ongoing position with competitive remuneration, including performance bonuses, healthcare, and pension plans. Flexible work options are available, with a minimum of three days in the office. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
