Full-time RN

Duties :

• The RN provides a full range of hospice nursing care to patients and families in the Home Care Program.
• Provides personal care such as bathing.
• Monitors patients' medical conditions and provides accurate reports to attending physicians as appropriate.
• Works in an interdisciplinary care setting to teach, assist, and support patients / families with the dying process.
• Covers On-Call as needed.
• Carries out the pain management and symptom management plan to keep the patient as comfortable as possible.
• Reassesses pain and notifies the registered nurse when pain is not manageable on the current medications.
• Responds to the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families.
• Provides care within all service areas of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
