As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within an educational location. You will monitor assigned areas, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff, students, and visitors. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents. Communicate professionally with all individuals on site and coordinate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. Support a secure environment for educational operations by being visible and approachable while performing patrols and responding to inquiries. Minimum Requirements : Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
