Overview :

FMK Agency is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented WordPress Web Developer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of design and development , with a keen eye for aesthetics , deep respect for brand standards , and technical fluency across multiple platforms and tools.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of strategists, designers, developers, and marketers to craft visually compelling , SEO-optimized , and performance-driven web experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain custom WordPress websites using modern tools and visual builders like Nectar Blocks and similar codeless page builders.

Ensure every project reflects exceptional design standards , balancing usability, creativity, accessibility, and performance.

Collaborate with designers and strategists to translate Figma files into fully responsive, interactive web pages.

Develop and implement web-based tools, integrations, and platform features, primarily using WordPress and HubSpot CMS , with occasional use of other CMS platforms as needed (e.g., Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace).

Ensure best practices in on-page SEO , metadata, structured content, performance optimization, and accessibility.

Optimize web content for various media types (text, video, audio, graphics) and ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.

Maintain and troubleshoot back-end functionality, plugins, and API integrations.

Stay current with emerging web technologies, design trends, and SEO algorithms.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in WordPress web development with a portfolio that emphasizes visual craft and design systems.

Proficient in Figma , and able to effectively translate UI / UX mockups into functioning sites.

Experience working with HubSpot CMS and the ability to navigate other CMS platforms (Webflow, Shopify, etc.).

Strong understanding of SEO best practices , schema markup, page speed, and Google Search Console fundamentals.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks; development knowledge to support design implementations is preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail , design sensibility, and appreciation for clean, modular code and maintainable build structures.

Comfortable working autonomously, receiving feedback, and iterating quickly within cross-functional teams.

Bonus : familiarity with GA4, Tag Manager, or A / B testing tools.
