Position Summary

The Lead cGMP Labeling Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing the labeling of raw materials, consumables, and single-use items stored in Tobin Scientific's offsite cGMP facility. This role ensures labeling activities are performed in strict accordance with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs. The Coordinator will lead day-to-day labeling operations, conduct material inspections, apply client-defined labels, maintain accurate documentation, and track performance metrics to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and verification of incoming raw materials and single-use items to ensure compliance with client and cGMP requirements.
• Apply client-specific labels accurately and consistently, following defined labeling processes and SOPs.
• Track and report progress on labeling activities, including productivity and accuracy metrics.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of labeling operations in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Lead and coordinate daily labeling activities, ensuring work is prioritized and executed efficiently.
• Serve as a point of contact for client labeling requirements, clarifications, and process updates.
• Support audits and inspections by providing labeling records, documentation, and demonstrating compliance.
• Train and mentor team members on labeling standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Operations teams to identify process improvements and implement corrective / preventive actions as needed.
• Ensure all labeling supplies and equipment are maintained in a compliant, ready-to-use state.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in a cGMP environment, preferably within warehousing, materials management, or labeling operations.

Strong knowledge of cGMP principles, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to interact with clients and internal teams.

Prior leadership or team coordination experience strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems a plus.

Working Conditions

Full-time, onsite role at Tobin Scientific's offsite cGMP facility.

Requires standing, lifting, and handling materials in a controlled warehouse environment.

May require occasional overtime based on client demands and operational needs.
