HIGHLIGHTS JOB TYPE : Full-Time & PRN Day (7am-7pm) & Night (7pm-7am) shifts available FACILITY TYPE : 20 bed Small-Format Hospital (10 ER, 10 Inpatient) PERKS : Flexible Schedule, 401K match ( fully vested day 1 ), paid referrals Position Overview The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. Essential Job Functions

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally / specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients / families
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
• Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures Assemble equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; perform or assist others with procedures or treatments Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital / facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing for that State. Other Job Functions
• Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document
• Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
• May be required to float to alternate locations at the request of leadership, based on staffing needs and patient care requirements to ensure continuity of care and optimal operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned Basic Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, required; BSN, preferred
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required
• 2 years full-time RN experience in Telemetry / ICU, or 2 years combination experience in related healthcare positions, required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification)
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication Physical Requirements Typical functions of this role include standing, sitting and walking a majority of the time. There are occasions when kneeling, stooping, bending or reaching may be necessary. The employee must be able to lift and / or move up to 10 lbs on a regular basis. There may be occasions in which the employee must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles and chemicals and risk of electric shock can occur. Risk of radiation can occur regularly.
