Maintenance Technician - Material Handling Equipment

Job Summary

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment in an automated warehouse environment. This role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems maintaining conveyor equipment and ensuring safe operations while supporting continuous facility operations through flexible scheduling and comprehensive maintenance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation and record-keeping
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts motors photo-eyes and relays
• Perform repairs and maintenance on automated conveyor systems and controls
• Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime

Working Conditions

This position operates in an automated warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery electrical systems and varying environmental conditions. Work includes dust fumes / odors hot / cold temperatures inside / outside noise vibration and standing on concrete for extended periods. May encounter wet or uneven surfaces and require work in confined spaces for equipment maintenance and repair.
