A well-established organization in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to oversee companywide tax compliance. This opening is due to an internal promotion and offers strong visibility, along with direct support from a leader who brings a deep tax background.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead all tax compliance reporting for the organization
• Prepare S corporation and partnership tax returns
• Oversee sales and use tax filings across multiple states
• Support personal property tax assessments
• Assist with exemption certificate compliance, book to tax reconciliations, and M adjustments
• Work with rental fleet and fixed asset depreciation
• Maintain and support tax setup, configuration, and testing within the company's ERP system
• Address user tax inquiries and assist with system enhancements
• Support federal, state, and local audit requests
• Participate in quarterly payment planning, forecasting, and tax planning
• Identify and implement process improvements across tax operations
• Stay current on changes to GAAP and tax requirements and implement updates as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally on projects and support broader finance initiatives
