Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and in accordance with established principles and standards of nursing the staff nurse will support student wellbeing in the Marianist tradition of inclusivity by providing exemplary nursing care to outpatient students.
Minimum Qualifications :
Registered Nurse : Currently registered with the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school.
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
Experience with patient care in an outpatient setting.
Basic computer and typing skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following :
Experience with electronic medical records.
Experience with venipuncture.
Experience with nurse phone triage.
Experience with nursing guideline-based patient care.
General X-ray Machine Operators license.
Experience with adolescents or young adults.
Ability to communicate well with others and establish a rapport with college students.
Attention to detail.
Commitment to promoting inclusiveness and a welcoming campus climate.
Ability to be a team player.
