Job descriptionMinimum of 2 years of experience with preschool children in a daycare setting. Associate Degree in Education, BA in ECE or current CDA certification (Preferred). Strong understanding of child development and preschool educational methods. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Able to lift up to 45+ pounds multiple times per day. Willingness to submit to background checks. CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Available to work full-time, including as late as 5 : 30 pm (Depending on the work shift assigned). Bilingual English & Spanish preferred. Ensure children’s safety and well-being. Implement curriculum with creativity and innovation. Serve as a positive role model. Prepare children for kindergarten. Foster social and emotional development. Maintain a clean and nurturing environment. Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and delegate tasks. Create engaging lesson plans and track progress. Tiny Steps Learning Center is expanding and seeking passionate Preschool Lead Teachers to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Position Overview :
The Lead Teacher will educate and care for children ages 3 to 5, teaching reading, writing, science, and other subjects in an age-appropriate manner.
