UCI Veteran Services Center Program Coordinator

Responsibilities
Using professional student services theories and concepts, performs a limited range of duties and responsibilities within a Student Life program. Works independently to provide information and interpretation of clearly defined policies, procedures and regulations. Receives direction regarding more complex issues and / or program(s). Identifies individual student needs for programs and services and advises on appropriate programs and resources. Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Veteran Services Center (VSC), the Program Coordinator supports the implementation and coordination of VSC programs and services that promote the visibility and successful transition of UCI's military-connected community to student life. The Program Coordinator assists the VSC Director with program logistics, event coordination, and outreach activities by assisting with scheduling, communications, and day-to-day operations of VSC initiatives. The position maintains regular communication with staff across UCI and local community partners to facilitate information sharing and coordination of services for prospective and continuing military-connected students. The Program Coordinator supports the implementation of marketing and outreach activities as directed by the VSC Director, including social media, email communications, and promotional materials for VSC programs, services, and events. The position helps with the collection of assessment data and student feedback on VSC initiatives and reports findings to the VSC Director to inform program evaluation and improvements.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $26.53- $27.00 (Hourly).
