Schedule & Call

Schedule : Full-time, flexible scheduling

Call : 1 : 4 rotation

Clinical Scope

Practice Focus : Full-scope cardiac anesthesia care

Responsibilities :

Perioperative assessments

Administration and monitoring of anesthesia

Postoperative care

Procedures : Surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic cardiac procedures

Facility Services : 24-hour emergency care, Level II trauma, and broad specialty coverage

Annual Case Volume : 18,000+ (2023)

Requirements

U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency and Adult Cardiothoracic Fellowship

Active or eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License

PALS and ACLS (AHA-certified)

TEE Certification required
