The Department of Religion at Lake Forest College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position with a demonstrated ability to teach comparative topics such as religion and the environment, religion and popular culture, religion and science, religion and food, and / or comparative religious ethics. The ability to teach either in the field of Indigenous Religions or in Christianity is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts setting. The successful candidate will teach six courses, most at the introductory level, but at least one upper-level seminar for majors and minors.
