About This Position

As a Desktop Service Specialist, you will work as part of the End User Technology (EUT) team providing advanced technical support to internal and external customers and maintaining desktop environments at North Memorial locations.

Requirements

Education

  • Associates degree, two?year technical certificate, or 2+ years equivalent direct Technology Support experience required.
  • Bachelors degree (or higher) or related work experience preferred.
  • Experience

  • 2 years experience in Information Technology required.
  • 2 years experience within the Health Care related field preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Mid?level experience with PC operating systems and applications, including Windows, Microsoft O365 tools, remote support applications, Active Directory, and Apple iOS.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex workstation issues.
  • Strong customer service experience in a technical setting.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, analyze, and solve problems / activities with minimal work direction.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Office suite, and ITIL Service Management structure.
  • Experience with logins, printing, and remote access.
  • Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, Entra / Active Directory, and networking configuration and administration.
  • Licensure / Certification

  • Valid Class D drivers license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record.
  • Work Group : Non Contract

    Hours per two?week pay period : 80

    Shift : Days 8 hours

    Weekend requirement : Weekends as needed

    Call requirement : On / Off Premise Call

    Remote or On?site : On?site

    FLSA Status : Non?Exempt

    Benefit Eligibility : Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.

    Salary Range : N15 ($24.63 - $36.94), based on experience

    Shift Differential : Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
