Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,196 per week in Springfield, IL

Job Title : Labor and Delivery RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years' experience required License : Active state license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring required Must-Have : Teaching Hospital Experience preferred EFM interpretation skills / experience required Description : Position available for a Labor and Delivery RN. Candidate must work nights. The shift schedule is either 3x12 or 4x12. First-timers accepted. Candidates will work every third weekend. No on-call requirements. Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be necessary. Accommodations for block scheduling can be discussed with the manager. Candidates from the local area are accepted. Time off requests must be discussed with the manager. Client may call off up to 36 hours per assignment without additional compensation. Experience with less than 100 facility births / month preferred. Candidate must have the ability to assist with cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries. Daily census includes both infants and adult patients. The unit offers interdisciplinary support. Requirements include appropriate certifications and skills in labor and delivery practices. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various performing procedures and assessments related to obstetrics. Compliance with attendance and behavior expectations throughout the contract duration is essential.
