Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and Siemens Sola MRI scanner experience for a rotating shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital MRI department
  • Primary unit assignment as MRI Technologist
  • Patient population includes inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Utilizes Siemens Sola MRI scanner
  • Shifts rotate among 6 : 00-14 : 30, 10 : 30-19 : 00, and 14 : 30-23 : 00 based on unit need
  • Daily call rotation from 23 : 00-07 : 00 and weekends 23 : 00-06 : 30, typically 2 times per week and every other weekend
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this role
  • May be assigned to an Emergency Team during hurricane events with the expectation to remain onsite or participate in relief operations as directed
  • Discuss all requested time off (RTO) during interview, as failure to disclose may result in offer withdrawal
  • Be prepared for potential changes in duties during hurricane season, with specific instructions given by the unit manager
  • References are not required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • ARRT MR and BLS certifications required
  • Must hold current Louisiana State License (if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
  • Experience with Siemens Sola MRI scanner required
  • All certifications must be through the American Heart Association
  • Must live at least 65 miles from the facility for eligibility
