Job description

General Function :

This position is responsible for working with our on-premise accounts in Lexington and surrounding counties to help increase retailer sales and profitability while achieving wholesalers goals.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Know and achieve Kentucky Eagles goals.
  • Account management : schedule sales calls know the decision making process manage ROI on marketing and promotional opportunities.
  • Develop and review weekly sales plans for upcoming week with supervisor.
  • Ongoing review of pricing to achieve customer and company volume and gross profit goals.
  • Know the competitions brand activity and service.
  • Responsible for reviewing and maintaining the frequency of service the wholesaler is providing to the account.
  • Recommend and implement SKU mix that maximizes accounts profitability and profitable growth for Kentucky Eagle throughout the entire portfolio.
  • Maintain relationships with accounts : understand accounts goals and motivations help make the account profitable.
  • Execute suppliers and / or customers programs.

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required :

  • 1 year of experience in the beverage or wholesaler industry preferred.
  • 1 year of B2B customer service.
  • 2 years sales experience preferred.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and present strong presentations.
  • Understanding of beverages and retailers profitability.
  • Has the ability to cultivate strong business relationships.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written to a diverse group of external and internal customers.
  • Ability to organize and work efficiently and to set priorities.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License with a driving record acceptable to Company insurance carrier.
