Mechanical Engineer (Production)

Location : Kallang

Salary : Up to $5,000 / month

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM

Benefits : AWS + 2 Months Variable Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of operators, technicians, and line leaders in daily sheet metal production activities
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production in coordination with the planning team to meet delivery timelines
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards and protocols
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with engineering, quality, and maintenance departments
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, 6S practices, and other process enhancement initiatives
• Monitor and report key production KPIs such as OEE, scrap rate, and on-time delivery performance

Job Requirements

• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing
• Hands-on knowledge of sheet metal processes (cutting, bending, welding, surface treatment)
• Able to read engineering drawings and interpret technical specs
• Familiar with CNC machinery and tooling setup; experience with AMADA machines is an advantage
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and problem-solving tools (e.g., root cause analysis)
