Job description

Overview

Account Executive - Large Enterprise at Workday. This role focuses on net new revenue within Large Enterprise prospects, guiding customers to adopt Workday solutions and delivering long-lasting value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise prospects and articulate Workday’s value proposition.
  • Develop relationships with net-new customers with a focus on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions, particularly core financials.
  • Negotiate deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer / prospect, pipeline, and forecast data.

About You

  • Basic Qualifications : 5+ years of experience selling SaaS / Cloud ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
  • 5+ years experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and manage multiple deals.
  • 5+ years experience with longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
  • Proven experience understanding the strategic competitive landscape and ability to position Workday solutions within accounts.
  • Able to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for short and long-term prospecting and territory management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    The annual base salary ranges are listed below and may vary by location. Compensation may include a bonus plan or commission, plus annual stock grants. Final offers are based on geography, experience, skills, duties, and business need. For more information about benefits, please refer to Workday’s benefits page.

    Primary Location : USA.CA.Pleasanton

    Base Pay Range : $146,900 - $179,500 USD (primary and additional US locations).
