Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Full-Time Day

• The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides assistance and collects data in the delivery of patient care in a correctional setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• As part of this role, the LVN directs and guides patient teaching and activities in accordance with their education, demonstrated competencies, and the Nursing Practice Act (NPA).
• The LVN works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and compliance with established policies and procedures.
