Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is seeking an Acute Care Surgicalist to join our highly experienced team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

The Opportunity :

Step into a high-functioning Acute Care Surgery team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, where you’ll practice the full breadth of emergency general surgery in a setting that balances complexity, autonomy, and true schedule flexibility. Our surgeons manage everything from pediatric and thoracic emergencies to major trauma, backed by a robust blood bank and reliable 24 / 7 in-house support services. You’ll have the opportunity to perform a wide range of cases while benefiting from a practice model that allows you to fully sign out when your shift ends, giving you the freedom to enjoy everything Alaska has to offer outside of work.

• Compensation & Benefits : $3,700 / 24hr shift. $65k sign-on bonus. Full employee benefits, medical, vision, dental, 401k.
• Schedule : 120 shifts per year (10 shifts / month). Live wherever you’d like and join us for your 10-day block if you prefer. Hospital housing is provided, but travel is the provider's expense.
• The OR : State-of-the-art facilities, an exceptional anesthesia team, and ample support in the operating room.
