Travel ICU Critical Care Nurse - $2,497 per week

• Work 12-hour shifts : Day shift 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM or Night shift 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM
• Maintain 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio in 16-bed ICU unit
• Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
• Care for cardiac and respiratory patients requiring acute and critical care
• Titrate drips including Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, and Precedex
• Serve as charge nurse and house supervisor when assigned
• Read telemetry strips (no monitor techs available)
• Weekend requirement : every other weekend
• Holiday requirement : 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• May be placed on call for low census with 30-minute response time
• Float requirements : contract RNs float first per ONA contract
• Dress code : Black, cocoa brown, charcoal grey, navy blue, or khaki scrubs
• Complete 2-shift unit-specific orientation
• Use MediTech electronic health record system
• Work with respiratory therapist in ICU 24 / 7 and various RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
• BSN not required
